PSHS Grand Alumni Homecoming 2008

It's going to be a green homecoming this September!

This year's silver jubilarian batch, the PSHS Class of 1983, has decided on going green - its theme for the PSHS Grand Alumni Homecoming this September 6, 2008. The emphasis is to promote environmental awareness and to share ways on how we can address environmental concerns.

Consider the following:

  • Take the PISAY CODE challenge as you watch the unfolding of Luntian
  • Family bonding on Sports Day amidst the lush greenery of Celebrity Sports Plaza
  • Get ready for a grand picnic on Homecoming Night
  • Get recycling ideas from a very special Trashionista fashion show

On Homecoming Night, prepare yourself for a GREEN evening.

The PSHS Alumni Association is pleased to announce that a fund-raising reunion concert will be staged as part of the series of alumni activities leading up to the Grand Alumni Homecoming. Entitled "Ganito Kami Noon, Eh Ano Ngayon?,” the show will be held on September 3, 2008, at the PETA Theater in Quezon City.

The concert is a follow-up to last year’s alumni musical extravaganza held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo which featured PSHS batches ’69 to ’75. This time, batches '76 to '85 will take center stage as they showcase their respective musical talents with their own rendition of the hits and favorites of their era. Susan Warren-Mercado of B'78 is heading the Alumni Concert committee that will ensure that we will all have a fun-filled evening marked with a strong sense of camaraderie and Pisay nostalgia.

In line with the “green” theme of the homecoming this year, the proceeds of the concert will go to the PSHS Alumni Fund to support environment-related projects in PSHS Main Campus.

To all Pisay alumni, see you at the concert!
